Planned Migration from LA1 to LA2 Data Center

Hello
We hope this email finds you well.
Please note, this downtime ONLY affects services at the LA1 datacenter (Quadranet) and nothing else, no other services are impacted at this time.
We wanted to inform you about an important decision regarding our infrastructure. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing issues at our LA1 Data Center—including repeated downtimes over the past month—and the lack of clear communication and transparency from the facility, we’ve been left with limited information about the current and future state of operations there.
To ensure uninterrupted and reliable service moving forward, we have decided to migrate all our equipment and servers from the LA1 Data Center to our existing LA2 Data Center. This decision was made to avoid any further unexpected incidents and prolonged outages that could impact your services.
Given that Downtown LA is a premium location with limited availability, securing a new data center and negotiating contracts would require considerable time. Therefore, moving to our LA2 Data Center, which is already operational, is the most efficient and practical solution.
The migration is scheduled for January 26th Sunday, 2:00 PM UTC (6:00AM PST) , to minimize disruption. We estimate a maximum downtime of approximately 12 hours during this process. Not all services will be down for 12 hours, as we will aim to get things up faster, but we consider the 12 hour window to be a solid end-to-end time frame to finish the migration.
We've picked Sunday specifically as it would have the least effect for our customers who use their services during business hours instead of moving things on a Monday-Friday, even though this costs us more as a company it is the right decision with the least impact.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this sudden change but believe this proactive measure will significantly improve the stability and reliability of our services. There's a lot more we're working on in the past months with regards to our network and introducing better connectivity and DDoS protection for all our customers which we aim to facilitate once we're setup at the LA2 datacenter.
Thank you for your understanding and support. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via the client area.
Best regards,
